Every photographer should photograph subject matter that means something to them. I'm a full time dad and husband and brother, son, uncle, and grandson. Family means a lot to me so I photograph my family. It's just what I do.
There's no shortage of them because I've got 7 siblings, my wife has 5 and I have 5 children of my own so I have plenty of subject matter.
These images start in 2007 when I purchased a Rolleiflex FX. I try to photograph not only the person but the environment and details that add to the story told by the photograph.
